A car that deserves to be maintained, restored and, above all, kept on the road for many years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That passion is where <strong>EMPA Autoparts<\/strong> began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Netherlands, I develop and manufacture parts mainly for the restoration of the Peugeot 205. Quite often, it starts with a very simple problem: a part is rusted, broken, impossible to find or simply no longer available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of accepting that such a part has disappeared, I try to find a solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parts made by an enthusiast, for enthusiasts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some parts are small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bracket, support, clip or mounting point that almost nobody notices\u2026 until the day you need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other parts are larger body or restoration components needed to save a 205 from corrosion and age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is exactly what I enjoy about this work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finding a part that has almost disappeared, understanding how it was originally made and fitted, and then trying to make it available again for Peugeot 205 owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many EMPA products have been created in exactly this way: directly from a problem discovered during a restoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Made in the Netherlands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EMPA parts are developed and produced with great care in <strong>the Netherlands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I prefer making parts whose development and quality I can follow myself rather than offering anonymous mass-produced products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some parts are made by hand. Others require cutting, bending, pressing, welding or special surface treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the principle always remains the same:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>to make a part that I would be happy to fit to my own car.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attention to the small details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a restoration, it is often the small details that make the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A small bracket in the wrong position, a missing mounting point or a piece of bodywork that is no longer available can stop an entire project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why I also focus on the parts that larger manufacturers are no longer interested in producing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even if only one old and rusty original part remains, it can sometimes become the starting point for making a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And quite often, a new EMPA product begins with a simple message from an enthusiast:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cArie, can you reproduce this part?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is exactly what makes this work interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A special connection with France<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Peugeot 205 is, of course, French, so it is no surprise that many of the enthusiasts I meet are based in <strong>France<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I enjoy visiting events and meetings with my van full of parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, these trips are about much more than selling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are a chance to meet the people behind the orders, see their cars, talk about restorations, exchange ideas and sometimes even discover the next part that needs to be reproduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fully restored GTI, a Rallye, a CTI, a Junior that has been cherished for years, or simply a 205 that refuses to retire: every car has its own story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that is exactly what keeps the Peugeot 205 community alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Behind EMPA, there is a person<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EMPA Autoparts is not a large anonymous platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you ask a question, look for a particular part or place an order, you are dealing with someone who knows these cars and is genuinely interested in your project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would rather take the time to think along with a customer than simply sell a part that turns out not to be useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And if a certain part no longer exists, I at least want to find out whether it can be made again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Keeping Peugeot 205s on the road<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every year, original parts become harder to find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some disappear completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, more and more Peugeot 205s are being restored and preserved as the classic cars they have now become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is where I want EMPA Autoparts to make a contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not by replacing the history of the Peugeot 205, but by making the parts needed to <strong>continue that history<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One part at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One restoration at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One 205 at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EMPA Autoparts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Passion for the Peugeot 205.<br>Dutch craftsmanship.<br>Parts made to keep them on the road.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welcome to EMPA Autoparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Arie Pronk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-8772e83\" data-block-id=\"8772e83\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><\/h2><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EMPA Autoparts \u2013 Passion for the Peugeot 205 Welcome to EMPA Autoparts To me, the Peugeot 205 is much more than just a car.
